Babel
The tragedy of our time is that we have developed means of communication but we communicate badly. Babel is an expression of this failure to communicate at the levels: at family, between friends, between lovers, and between countries. A film deserves to be watched several times!
Bad Education

Another film about the homsexuality which carries a paradox of condamenating and glorifying the homosexuality.

Bad Sleep Well
Corruption in after war Japan is the main them of Akira Kurosawa's film. However, he managed to blow life in this story by simple touches, another indication of his skill.
The Battle of Algiers

the days of the French colonial authority in Algeria where dark days, yet the days of the French conspiracy on Algeria after the independence are darker. The film show the brutal French policy, Indeed some of the scence, show the brutal French look to the Algerians. Brutality seeds brutality and those who cultivate blood and agony will sooner or later harvest blood and agony and ... Curse!!!

I could not hold my tears!

Beautiful Mind:
A story about a genius man who became psychologically unstable destabilizing his all life. Russell Crowe won the Oscar prize for this role but I think he was much better in the "insider".
Belle de jour:
A woman who became a prostitute just for the sake of experience itself. Such deviated style of life got some encouragement under the pretext of liberty and the result is agony for each individual in the society, an agony that they see no way to get rid off but by causing a more agony to others.
The believer
A film about the Jewish society. The film is not coherent enough, has many weak points but it still has some smart ideas. A rebellion young Jewish living a conflict that ends dramatically.
Benny's video:

Michael Hanke has an active consciousness that still crying loudly about "crimes against humanity". The T.V is the father, the mother and the best friend for the new generations in the west. The T.V is full of violence and cruelty that attract the young people to try it and then what? more agonies.

A Bronx Tale

An honest and decent father who struggles for his son's future. A son who is on the crossroad between calm, decent life and a life full of pleasures, power and sins. I think many people have been on this crossroad at least once in their life.

Bounty
The fourth film dramatization of the 1789 mutiny aboard the H.M.S. There is love, sex, violence, greed and the all the elements of a good film but there little or no suspension.
The bodyguard
A well done musical film with rapid streaming screenplay that guarantee the success to the film.
The bodyguard (Yojimbo)
Akira Kurosawa proved his mastering of the scenario by making a film full with suspense. The American copied his style in the film " a fistful of Dollars" with Clint Eastwood in the main role.
Brave heart
It shows the events, some of them are painful and some of them are pleasant but, and it is a big but, not vivid emotions. Shocking truth is how the Englishmen treated the Scotish ruthlessly. The tradition that every woman who marry must spend her first night in the English master bed room is a torture by definition.
Breaking the waves
Lars von Trier master piece that granted him the palm of Cannes festival is a moving experience. The stranger who comes to a small village where everybody knows everybody else and all are suspicious about this stranger is a recurrent theme in Lars von Trier films, not unexpected for someone who lived in Denmark!. Here the stranger was much more lucky than in the following films (Dancer in the dark and dogvile). Because he had the love of a decent good-hearted romantic girl. The choice of music is very good and the final Siciliana piece by J.S.Bach was just what the end needed.
The Bridge at Remagen

A fierce battle in the second world war where a German general disobey the orders given to him. Many good scene.

Bowling for Columbine

who dare to tell the American that they are committing crimes against other people? who dare to say that the violent raising of American children is responsible for this violent trends in the American society? well Michael Moore did this in a master piece documentary film.

The Bridges of Madison

A romantic film where Meryl Streep mad a beautiful performance (as usual). It is true that some people live all their lives and cannot find such experience others do not believe in it". The scenes of Clint Eastwood leaving the city in his car under the rain were so touchy, i would say. Delicious romantic experience.
