The heat
One of the best films I have ever seen. Actually it is my favorite film. The action and the personalities are very interesting and breathing. "You must be prepared to give up everything in three seconds, if you are to work in this work". The scenes of battles are full with suspension contrary to the majority of American films. I saw the film 10 times until now!
Hidden
Michael Hanke master work is revealing the complexity of our life. The past, the present and the future intermingling. Again Hanke is taking care of the immigration related problems in a very intelligent way without patronizing or sympathizing. Another master piece from Hanke.
The Hidden fortress
Akira Kurusaw conveys in this film smart ideas about money, courage and loyalty. The chivalry ethics that he admires.
High and low (haven and hell) :
The ethics of Japanese society is the focus of Akira Kurosawa simple, yet expressive film.
The horseman on the roof:
Mature, sensitive, intelligent, beautiful, decent and faithful woman that I doubt is found nowadays. So much Chivalry that makes one eager to those ages!!!
Hævnen (Revenge)
A beautiful drama by Susanne Bier about the concept of revange.
