The daily life in Vietnam is presented simple and passionate. the film rythem and plot is fine.

Like most if not all the films about this era, it lacks the historical credibility in many of its scenes. The screenplay was good but it could not cover a weak plot. The music is just ordinary one and the actors were clearly acting! Big budget and unlimited political support could not make a good film.

British beauty which is more or less close to the tragic "American beauty". A master piece that tell the sufferings of the new civilization, as suffering which is veiled by its arrogance look towards the others and manifested by its destructive, ruthless aggression on the others. It worth's to be seen several times.

A film about love, well mixed comedy, tragedy and philosophy, should we follow the hear or the mind when we love, can we choose? another well done film by Ang Lee with many beautiful scenes.

They described it as a black comedy, however, it is far from being a comedy. Betrayal and adultery are the main themes that the film treats. I will not hide that I cried in this film and I will certainly cry with more tears if I am to see it again. A social drama. Affecting.

Akira Kurosawa master piece is unforgettable film that teaches us a multitude of precious lessons. More than a master piece, Indeed. Courage, wisdom, love, discipline, ethics, morale, genuine and faked nobility, honor and last but not least sacrifice. It is difficult to assemble seven samurai, Yes Mr. Kurosawa, it is.

 No one can argue when a woman make her choice. She may prefer a asshole on prophet. She may destroy a happy family just to attain to its whims. She may hurt people who loves her and beg those who hurt her. Yet, no one must argue, she is lovely.

Kevin Spacy in a wonderful role that adds to his account of good staring. A powerful yet, mysterious music that beats as if it is the beating of a heart eager to life. Beautiful.

From the same directors "la promesse" and "Rosetta", another realistic film about juvenile delinquency. Olivier Gourmet deserves the best actor prize that he was awarded in Cannes. Again absence of accompanying music and excellent sound management made the film not only real, but very real.

Well, it is another master piece from David Lynch, this time full with wise, calm and colorful passion for life. The scenes of landscape, the roads, the people encountered on the road and the music, said much without words and this is David Lynch. A deep yet "clear" philosophical aspect, the life seen from an old man eyes. A lesson to be learned from the film life is beautiful.

 Who are the sleepers?

The agony of injustice and how it destroyed the lives of four young boys, is not an uncommon story especially in our times. The film may help to discover this unpleasant truth. 

The real battle of Stalingrad. With exception of few scenes the film let you even smell the the powder of guns and the burning bodies in explosions. One of the rare films that show the virtues of the German soldiers.

 I like this film. It tells about the wisdom of a very old religion and the way this wisdom tested and thrived. Many passionate shaking moments are to be found in this film. The music is so beautiful inspired by Schubert and made by Jarr.

Political film about the burning middle east. Some criticise the film that it is difficult to understand the story line. I said it is exactly what the Middel East is. I am amazed that the plot is so vivid and attached to the political realty of the region. Very beautiful performance of Clooney.

One of the best American film about the discrimination. Simple and wonderful story.

A Scottish drama about a young boy who sacrifices his future for a mother who does not deserve. The film shed a light on the teenagers life in Europe. another beautiful film by Ken Loach.
