The Warrior's Shadow
I consider this film as unforgettable experience that I want to thank Mr. Kurosaw for. I cannot and I will not hide the fact the film affected me so deep was the affection that tears find their way onto my cheeks every time I see this masterpiece...when the tears filled my eyes, I smiled...It is a powerful symophoney, only when one understands it in depth.
When Father Was Away on Business (Otac na Sluzbenoh Putu):

The Yugoslavian Communist party and the suppression of people as well as its members is the main theme of this film. Watching the film I did not feel that it is just a film, the events that the film told about were the same in Iraq under the Baath party. Malik is a story of a generation that brought up under merciless oppression, a generation like ours!

The widow of Saint Pierre

The widow symbolising the death. The symbol is double when considering the French title of the film. Andante rythem and beautiful scenes. Juliette Binoche was strong as the storm yet gentle as the breeze.

The wind will carry us

A philosophical film that uses simple material to present complicated concepts. I wish I could see it again because the translation was in Swedish and I missed many things in this beautiful film.

The white cat and the black cat:

Another film from Emir Kusturica and another documentation of an era in Yugoslavia life. An era in post socialistic governments collapsing. Again the film is symbolic with powerful screen play.

The white Ribbon

A master piece of Haneke where he predicts the war and warn the world that we are walking the same road again. A beautiful film that you see and you take it with you home enjoying it again and again as a master piece of music.
