Cooking

When I left Iraq in 1991 I could barely roast an egg! I had to learn much more when I came to Denmark. The real leap occurred when I moved to live with my wife. I started to experiment with different dishes. Most of these experiments turned to big successes and no later than one year, I could impress many ladies with my cooking skills!
I love Middle East food. Iraqi and Lebanese/Syrian kitchen are the most attractive for me. I had the chance to taste many dishes from different parts of the world but it did not change my preference.

The best three restaurants I have been in and which I strongly recommend to you are:

1.Extrablaate Restaurant

I believe that discovering a new dish is more important to human beings than discovering a new plant!

The best thing one may ever do is to drink the Iraqi tea after a good meal in a cosy company...this what I call it "feeling home".
