Writing in Danish
Type your text here I tried to write in Danish which I am using every day at home, at work and in leisure time. But I encountered many difficulties. The first one is to express myself well in Danish. This requires that I master the nuance in the language which means that I must put so many efforts in it, the question is: does it worth those efforts when I know pretty well that I will have very limited number of readers?
The other problem is a well known for those who learnt Danish as adults. It is a phenomenon that the one language chases the other. Thus, as I master the Danish more, my English is becoming weaker and weaker and my French is grasping before death. At the end I will have just average Danish language that can not impress the Danes and cannot be used outside the borders of Denmark.
The third problem is a sensitive one so I will try to just touch on it. I could not publish what I have written in Danish because it is not the “stuff” which is expected from a foreigner. Those opinions that I tried to discuss are so different from those discussed in the media and when the difference is as diametric as it is in this case, the media close their doors.
I decided to write in Danish when necessary. Here are some of my Danish articles.
